CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP SCHOOL

Our Christian Leadership School (CLS) is accredited by the Sunday School Publishing Board (SSPB), Division of Christian Education Accreditation and Credentials (DCEAC). 

The DCEAC provides direction, oversight to the CLS program, and a program of study that supports the National Baptist Convention at all levels, locally and nationally.

The Certificate of Progress Program (COPP) is the structured, four-phased Christian education program of the SSPB designed to increase the student’s biblical knowledge and understanding of the Baptist faith.  COPP courses are taught at CLS.

On March 24, 2017, Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church was certified by the SSPB to become the first CLS as well as having the only certified Dean in our district and state.  Our first school commenced on May 22, 2017.

In concert with the Pastor’s vision for our church our CLS provides scholarly, biblical course work that equips and trains others to become certified leaders for the glory of God.

The school’s scriptural mantra is Colossians 3:23-24, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.  You are serving the Lord Christ.”
