The office of the deacon is one of ministry and service to Jesus Christ through His church. Deacons are chosen to serve as leaders alongside the pastor and the congregation. In this ministry, deacons empower members of the congregation. In both word and deed, the deacons of Sandy Run demonstrate the care of the Lord by serving and showing mercy to the church and all people.
